Honoring the Past. Restoring with Purpose.
A Historic Home Brought Back to Life
Built in 1890 and nestled in the heart of the Potwin Place Historic Neighborhood, this home had incredible potential—but it was hidden beneath decades of neglect, overgrown landscaping, and wear. As a proud part of the historic registry, it deserved better.
What followed was an 18-month journey of transformation, touching every inch of the house and yard. From structural updates and restoring original charm to refreshing the landscaping and making the home livable once again, the process was as challenging as it was rewarding.
The result is a vibrant, welcoming space that honors its past while offering modern comfort—and I’m thrilled to see it now being enjoyed by a beautiful young family. A true revival in one of Topeka’s most beloved neighborhoods.
